It then sits in the queue until somebody sits down to it; a message that arrives during the working day is opened before that day ends.
Booking here means something narrow and it is worth stating before you type anything. The Briar Review Bookings LLC takes booking requests and arranges the reservation through to whichever company actually runs the week. Not a cent leaves your hands in this direction at any point. No card details are kept anywhere in this office. Look for a checkout on this site, or a page where money changes hands, and there is not one. The operating company pays us a commission after you have traveled, which is how the office keeps its lights on and why the figure on your sheet is the figure the operator quotes. The four facts that make a quotation real
- A month, or two months if you are flexible
- Prices move by season more than by anything else. February in the Alpujarras and September in the Alpujarras are two different trips with two different sheets, so a month narrows the figure faster than any other single line you can give us.
- Both places you are weighing
- This is the one we care about most, and it is why the office is built the way it is. Name both halves of the pair and we price both on the same sheet, in the same currency, with the same inclusions listed line for line. Nobody here will tell you which one to take.
- How many of you, and how the rooms divide
- Two people in one room, four people in two rooms and a party of six split three ways produce different per person figures for the same week. Tell us the arithmetic and we will not have to guess it.
- A rough ceiling per person
- Our sixteen trips run $1,285 to $4,980 per person. If your ceiling sits under the lower figure we will say so plainly in the reply rather than sending you a sheet you cannot use.
The sequence once a request lands
Your message lands in the queue, whatever the hour, and you get an automatic acknowledgment carrying a reference. That acknowledgment is not a reservation and does not hold anything. // An agent reads it and, if one of the four facts is missing or ambiguous, writes back once with a short question. One question, not a chain of them. // We contact the operating companies behind both halves of your pair and ask for current pricing on your month and your party size. This is the part that takes time and it is why the written figure takes two to four working days. // The sheet comes back to you by email. Both places, both figures, what each figure covers, what it does not, and the deposit and balance schedule the operator sets. // You take as long as you like. If you decide to go ahead, you write back and we place the reservation with the operator, who then bills you directly on their own terms. If you decide against both, you write back or you do not, and nothing further happens.
Nothing on this page asks you for money
There is no card field on the form and no card field anywhere on this site. We do not take a deposit to open a file, we do not charge a planning fee, and we do not have a payment page to send you to. When a deposit becomes due it is due to the operating company under the terms printed on your sheet, and you pay them, not us.
There is no clock on the request either. No held figure that lapses at midnight, no counter, no line telling you how many seats remain. Prices are what the operators are asking on the day we ask them, and if they move between your sheet and your decision we will tell you they have moved and by how much. That is the honest version and it is the only one we offer.
We also do not ask about your health, your fitness or your medical history, and we will not tell you whether a place is suitable for you or for anyone traveling with you. Those are questions for you and, where it matters, for a doctor who knows you. Our sheets describe terrain, distances in miles, elevation in feet and what a day actually involves, and you draw your own conclusions from that description.
